WordPress 1.3 Stats: Connection Error

I get the following error whenever I try to view the stats tab in Wordpress for Android 1.3: "Connection to http://stats.wordpress.com refused"
I have two wordpress blogs, 1 hosted, 1 wordpress.com. I have the WordPress Stats Plugin installed on the hosted blog. I get the same error for each blog. I have also tried deleting and re-adding both blogs with no effect.
