This version mutilates existing posts' HTML.

My blog is not hosted at WordPress so I used the HTML editor in the old version. That version was fine -- after a brief period when it too mutilated HTML & then the user (me) had the option of choosing the HTML editor.

Examples in the 2.0.1 version:
1. I edited text that was in italics. When I saved the blog, the app italicized my entire blog. Aaaarrg!
2. When creating links in the PC-based editor I always checkmark "Open link in a new window" Even if I don't edit the links in WP for Android, when I save the blog it removes all the target="_blank" code.

Please offer an HTML editor ... or please fix this.

Yes, I agree that we need to use the HTML editor for existing posts. There's been too many reports of the editor butchering post content.
