unwated ads on mobile site

I'm using a G1 with the standard browser and I recently installed the (official?) worpress ap from the marketplace.
I perplexed how viewing my site in this one format (mobile) shows ads... and who is making money my content.

That was supposed to read
"When I swiched from wp mobile to wp regular mode in the browser, there were no ads" -
Is this on WordPress.com? To support the service (and keep free features free), we sometimes run advertisements. We try hard to make the ads discreet and effective and only run them in limited places. If you would like to completely eliminate ads from appearing on your blog, we offer the No-Ads Upgrade.

I'm new to the forums and don't know how to start my own thread. Sorry for bogarting your question patrickmillerstudio. But I have the exact same issue. I look at my mobile and desktop websites on my desktop browser and no ads, but as soon as I look at my mobile version via my Android device, I find unsolicited ads. I'm hosting my own site and it's not my DNS or my host. Any ideas. (PS if I should put this in a new post just let me know; either way I'm quite keen on remedying this issue before I have to shutdown the mobile site) =( Thanks in advance!
