Status 401 during setup

Hello,
i have my blog hostet on my own webspace. The access to my blog is passwordprotected (its just meant for family members).
While trying to setup my access to my blog using the android app I´m getting the 401 code. I suppose I get that because i cannot connect to my blog and THEN login to my blog.
Is there a workaround for my problem?

We have added http authentication in the next version, so look for the next update in Android Market soon.
