Post content is deleted upon upload

WP Version: 3.0.4 (self hosted)
WP Android App Version: 1.3.9
Phone: HTC IncredibleHi, I’m wondering if you can help me figure out why the content of my posts gets deleted when I upload a local draft from my phone to my self-hosted blog. The first line of my post is kept but everything else is deleted. It’s happened multiple times and this most recent time I forgot to copy the text before trying to upload so I lost the entire (lengthy) post.
I typically make multiple revisions to the local draft then select "Upload Draft To Blog" after long pressing the draft in the list. I don't know if its related to the length of the posts or what but its happened a couple times both with longer posts.
I’m running app v. 1.3.9 on an HTC Incredible and uploading to WP 3.0.4.
I tried to find other people with the issue and only found a few who had briefly commented on the apps page in the Android Market.

There may be something set incorrectly on your blog with regards to character encoding, would you be able to create a test account for us to test with? You can email the details to android at automattic dot com.

I'm having the same problem too on a Motorola Droid. I type up long posts, and have them cut down to the first line upon upload. This makes the app useless, but I really want a good WordPress app.
Which settings are suspected to a problem?
