Embedded video

   Hello!
   How do i posted posts with embedded videos from my cellphone? (self hosted)
   Im able to post links to the video that people can download and watch but not embedded.

   Same issue here. I know the BlackBerry version supports VideoPress which would do what I need it to do. When will the Android (and iPhone for that matter) WordPress Apps include VideoPress support?

   When trying to upload videos from Android and it fails because of invalid file type, the error message within the WordPress App suggests VideoPress as a fix. I paid for this plugin only to find out later that it actually DOESN'T work on Android.

   I feel very mislead and now that VideoPress has my money, I can't even get any type of response from Support (I have emailed twice in two weeks) It's very shady. You should remove this message from the WordPress App if it doesn't work.

   Oh I should note, this is a self hosted blog. The VideoPress plugin does work via the app if uploading to the .com Wordpress, but not the .org, so I guess my request would be, "VideoPress support for self hosted blog"

   You can try to add support for the video file extension using the mime config plugin:

   http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/pjw-mime-config/

   I think VideoPress should enable those uploads without that plugin though. What file type are you trying to upload?

   Why would anyone suggest us use a plugin that says:

   "Requires: 2.8 or higher
   Compatible up to: 2.9.2"

   ????
   Just wondering!
