Blog protected via .htaccess and .htpasswd
Dear colleagues, I am looking forward to using this tool in my android, but as I have my web password protected via .htaccess and .htpasswd I cannot. Do you plan to include this feature in next version or do you have any workaround for that issue??
Thanks in advance!
I am using AskApache and cannot get beyond the BlogURL/ username/password on my MotoDroid.
My blog is hosted independently at http://www.wqed.org/birdblog
Should the URL for login include the admin subdirectory?
Does this app work with AskApache?
@kstjohn - what error message are you getting? Are you typing http://www.wqed.org/birdblog in the url field?
@decabo - We'll get an .htaccess username/password option added in a future release
Oh my! It's a miracle! Login works.
Here's the config in case anyone's curious.
Phone: Moto Droid,
Droid WordPress for Android ver 1.0.3
Blog URL field: http://www.wqed.org/birdblog
(This is where readers see the blog, not the wp-admin folder where I admin from my PC)
NOTE: Earlier today I approved a blog comment received via email on my Droid, so my Droid had already passed through AskApache.
