Are there plans to make WP work with the native Android tablet browser?

I see that the most publicized efforts seem to be with the WordPress app for Android. That makes sense for cell phone users but I use a Samsung Galaxy tab 10.1 which gives me a full sized screen and browser, so I don't need an app.
Are there any development plans to make WordPress work on the native tablet Android browser like Samsung Galaxy and Xoom? Thanks
