When uploading posts and pages to my blog the images get uploaded on the server but instead of showing the pictures in post or page the html code is displayed.
I have the same issue with wpToGo

Has this something to do with libxml2 issues of directory permissions?

- self-hosted WordPress 2.9 installed in different directory
- HTC Hero v1.5
- 1.0 version of WordPress for Android

Yep, that sounds like the the libxml problem. The best solution is to get your server updated to versions of PHP + libxml that don't have this problem.
