I just disabled all of my plugins, installed the 1.5 RC from trac, tried connecting and got the same exact error (the object address was of course different). Grabbed the latest client from the Market and got the same error (still with all plugins disabled).

I don't see the RSD link in the headers of the site, which could be confusing the app when it tries to connect. You should have at least WordPress 3.0 to use the app.

If you're running a recent version of WordPress, you can try disabling plugins to see if any of them are interfering with the app.
