@Dan I've been looking for how to do that.

The FAQ says it's under the Writing settings, but it's not.

How do I enable it?

@andy4c xmlrpc is required to be enabled to use the app.

I have a similar problem. (" XMLRPC Fault: Bad login/pass combination. [code 403]")
Any text blog I try to post from my phone gets the 403 error.

I don't see either of the setings mentioned above, so I haven't tried enabling xmlrpc in writing settings or enabling Atom protocol.

But I wonder if the problem is because when first installing the app I clicked 'do not remember password' somewhere in the install. I have uninstalled/reinstalled the app to try to reset that but did not get that option.

It's actually you should enable the Atom Publishing Protocol.

Do you have xmlrpc enabled in the writing settings of wp-admin? Also, you might need to check with your host to see if they allow xmlrpc access for WordPress installs.

I've searched all over this forum and others looking for a way to gain access to my sites through the wordpress app. I'm hoping someone on here maybe able to help. I use bluehost for all my sites. My primary domain is joekotz.com. Any help would be appreciated.
