Erm, the Picassa gallery does not work AT ALL with Wordpress - the only place my copy of Wordpress on my Nexus 7 can get it's images from is the gallery, it lets me pick an image then never inserts it into the document.Videos are the same - can select then nothing.

I am used to Microsoft Live writer for Wordpress on the PC and would dearly love a similar application on Android to write or update my blogs which I do daily. This App., right now is not a lot of use for the above reasons and lack of ability to paste in an image snippet from the clipboard. PLEASE add these features or make them work....

You can try disabling your plugins to see if any of them are interfering. Regarding the images not showing up, are you adding them from images on the SD card? I know the app doesn't handle images from Picasa very well at the moment.

So far the android app has not been very helpful for me. I am having a few problems (some have been mentioned on here some not) and it makes it very difficult to do anything.

First of all I can't see all my pages so I can only work with 3 out of 6 or 7 pages. not sure how to make the others show up.

Secondly when I try to insert a picture into a page (not a post) it tells me that the image could not be uploaded from the gallery (the gallery on the tablet) In the past I have had it tell me that it worked but it seemed to use a local path for the file not a path on the server so I don't think it really uploaded it. and of course it didn't show up.

When I start at my tablet's image gallery and use the share wordpress share button it opens a new post but the picture is not included. (will it ever be possible to choose a different page to have images go to when you use the share button in this way? I would like to be able to "share" them to a gallery page).
I am using a Transformer Prime with ICS.

Sorry to hear the upgrade didn't fix it. I haven't had a chance to grab that eePad yet, will try and get it soon. I don't think you're the only one with this issue as I've seen a few other reports of this occurring. Have you tried uploading smaller images?

We've uninstalled, installed. And also, there doesn't seem to be a way to see all your photos in the gallery, like you can on the website... am I missing something?

No, there's no way to view your blog's gallery in the app at the moment.

I was finally able to upgrade to ICS and was really excited at the thought of maybe being able to upload photos in the app finally! Unfortunately, I am still having all the same problems.

The photos are sometimes uploading, sometimes not, and I can only seem to upload one photo at a time - insert, save draft, wait for upload, then insert, save draft, etc. This can't be right. The wifi connection I'm using is fast enough to stream youtube videos with no delay.

We've uninstalled, installed. And also, there doesn't seem to be a way to see all your photos in the gallery, like you can on the website... am I missing something?

Were you able to use your friend's eePad to troubleshoot?

Thanks for any assistance you might be able to give us!!

The images are about 3mb each I think (taken with a DSLR).

What really confuses me is that even when I try to save a local draft, the images are still not saving. I'll be interested to find out if you can reproduce the issue!

Thanks for the info. How large are the images that you are trying to upload? Maybe they are too big and aren't being uploaded correctly?

I have a friend who has an eePad transformer, going to borrow it from him to see if I can reproduce your issue. On a samsung galaxy tab it uploads multiple images without issue. I wouldn't think it would be a problem on the eePad though because it runs vanilla android.

I've tried both saving as a local draft and an online draft. Still completely unable to insert pictures.

It could be related to a poor internet connection. Are you saving the draft online or as a local draft?

Thank you! That helped the force-close issue and we were able to publish a post.

However, we're still having a hell of a time inserting photos. Not only are they tiny, regardless of the size preference I choose, but when I save a draft and come back to it, the pictures disappear - sometimes leaving a "img from android device" code and sometimes leaving nothing but blank space.

Could this problem stem from an intermittent internet connection? Also, could the app at all interfere with the browser-based wordpress website?

I've been scouring this forum and the web for some assistance. I'm traveling through South America with an Asus Eee Pad Transformer and have been trying mercilessly the past two days to update the blog my partner and I are using to stay in touch with friends and family!!
We uploaded a post three days ago successfully with the app. However, yesterday the app began acting buggy - we couldn't insert photos, we would put them in from the gallery, but then they wouldn't show up - the code would simply be "img from android device" or something, not the actual image link.
We thought it might be the internet connection as it's pretty intermittent down here, but found a stronger signal to use, still to no avail.
So, we thought we'd just give up on the photos and publish what we had. But now, everytime we try to publish, it force closes. When we even open the app, it takes a couple minutes for the menu to open, and same when we try to access the post section. We even tried saving it as a draft, yet still force close!
Let's not even begin to talk about trying to update within ANY of the browsers - none let me insert the pictures i've uploaded!! Stock browser, opera mini, dolphin, skyfire - tried them all.
We tried the app and test drove the transformer for awhile before we chose it as our main device to carry with us, but now we're beginning to regret the decision... I have installed the update (twice) and restarted, then restarted again the tablet. To be honest, it's actually worse with the update.
Any assistance would be more than appreciated as we love wordpress and don't want to have to switch to another blogging platform!!
